Junior Environmental Technologist or Scientist

We are hiring a Junior Engineer/Scientist located in Grande Prairie who will assist in multiple projects and work closely with multidisciplinary teams, regulatory agencies, and clients.

• Assist with field coordination and execution of Phase II environmental site assessments, remediation and groundwater monitoring programs.
• Support soil and vegetation assessments.
• Participate in spill responses and associated clean‑up activities.
• Travel as required to support field programs.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Assist with other service line projects when needed.

• Excellent problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to interface with cross‑functional teams and all levels of personnel/management.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related science.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within reporting structure.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Site safety certifications and familiarity with off‑road vehicles or ton trucks considered an asset.
• A valid Class 5 driver’s license (or Class G or equivalent) with no restrictions.

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
