This position is ideal for a driven expert focused on aquatic and fisheries management. You'll coordinate with project managers and field teams while providing key mentorship to junior staff. Your responsibilities will span diverse projects, including infrastructure, forestry, and transportation, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead QAES for aquatic field programs and assessments
• Manage construction monitoring and impact assessments
• Prepare and review environmental documentation
• Mentor junior staff in data collection and reporting
• Communicate with clients and regulatory stakeholders
Requirements:
• Degree in a related field such as environmental science
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant fields
• Self-declaration as Qualified Aquatic Environment Specialist
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in challenging outdoor conditions
