Apprentice Electrician

Apprentice Electrician –we will only be looking at experienced apprentices at this time.

Description:

Reporting to their Lead hand or Journeyperson, apprentice electricians are responsible for working in a team to complete the installation of building automation systems including low-voltage wiring and device installation. Apprentices are responsible for properly securing all tools and equipment at the end of each work period to prevent damage or loss.

Work Schedule
:

• Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts, 40 to 44 hours per week (7:00 am – 5:30 pm) (Can vary from site to site)
• Overtime, out-of-town, and weekend work may be required

Responsibilities
:

• Performing all work in a safe manner – abiding by Serv-All’s Health and Safety policies as well as all government legislation and regulations
• Cut, bend and install conduit
• Pulling wire through conduit, ceiling spaces and walls
• Installing and wiring of electrical devices, such as controllers, relays, actuators, etc.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all Serv-All Mechanical’s policies and procedures

Qualifications
:

• Must be an indentured 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice
• Have a Class 5 drivers license and reliable vehicle
• Basic hand tools and drill (tool list will be provided)
• Ability to get a security clearance
  
  Available to work out of town, shift work, nights, and weekends
• Conduit bending experience needed
• Controls experience considered an asset
• Driver’s License (required)
