Pumpjack Technician

Van Ros Services is seeking a Pumpjack Technician to join our team.

• Install, service and repair pump jacks according to manufacturer specifications and guidelines

• Minimum 2 years industry or related experience, preferred but willing to train
• Mechanical aptitude
• H2S, First Aid
• Fall protection
• Light Duty Picker Training
• Forklift Training
• Valid Class 5 Drivers license with air brake endorsement

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight as required
• Use forklift and O.H. cranes as needed
• Pre assemble pump jacks according to manufacture specifications and guidelines
• Drive to customer well site to perform service work
• Field install pump jack base pilings, pads, pump jack assembly and engine
• Provide field service on existing pump jacks in accordance with the manufactures and customers recommended maintenance schedule
• In-field Pumpjack moves
• Re-build gear boxes
• Sheave change out
• Use hand and air tools as required
• Keep a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure company and customer safety procedures are being adhered to
• Liaise with customer representative on needed repairs and maintenance schedule
