Position: Field Technician Role at NOV
Join NOV as a Field Service Technician, supporting the Grande Prairie/Fox Creek region with a focus on installation and troubleshooting over a 15-day rotational schedule. This role involves critical services for electronic monitoring and drilling systems.

As a Field Service Technician, you will take on responsibilities related to mechanical and electrical servicing, installation, and maintenance. The position includes 24-hour on-call duties and requires excellent communication for client interactions. Reading and understanding blueprints and diagrams is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out mechanical and electrical installations and repairs

• Maintain tools and vehicles effectively

• Read and follow schematics and blueprints

• Provide on-call service for emergency situations

• Complete job-related paperwork accurately

Requirements:

• Knowledge of oilfield service equipment preferred

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license needed

• Strong communication skills required

• CSO/H2S certifications necessary

• Mechanical aptitude and networking skills beneficial
