The Transportation Department at PWPSD seeks a Licensed Journeyman or a 3rd/4th Year Apprentice Mechanic. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, work independently and in teams, and be open to overtime when needed. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of over 170 vehicles supporting approximately 6,100 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain school buses and vehicles

• Work independently and collaboratively in a team

• Ensure effective communication regarding vehicle issues

• Complete required overtime as necessary

• Maintain safety and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Licensed Journeyman or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice status

• Ability to obtain a Commercial Vehicle Inspection License

• Current Criminal Record Check required

• Valid Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
