Our shop is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician who will work diligently on Allison transmissions and various truck engines. With responsibilities including diagnostics, repairs, scheduled maintenance, and project leadership, your role will be crucial in ensuring operational efficiency. We value strong communication skills and mechanics with an analytical mindset for troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines and transmissions

• Test, troubleshoot, and replace parts as necessary

• Conduct scheduled maintenance on equipment

• Collaborate with team members to complete work orders

• Maintain organized workspace and documents

Requirements:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice

• 2-3 years of relevant maintenance experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Customer service experience is a plus

• CVIP license and Class 3 Driver’s License preferred
