Heavy Duty Mechanic

Become a part of TRICAN as a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic in Grande Prairie, Alberta. You will ensure safe operations while servicing and maintaining machinery in our East Shop.

TRICAN, Canada’s top pressure pumping company, is seeking a certified Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, while prioritizing safety in all activities. Support less experienced technicians through guidance and share your expertise to uphold industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety in equipment and operations

• Operate hoists and lift devices for machinery

• Inspect and service vehicles and equipment

• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance tasks

• Provide guidance to apprentice personnel

Requirements:

• Journeyman Certification in Heavy Duty Mechanics

• Previous Field Mechanic experience preferred

• Valid Class 1, 3, or 5 license

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Physically fit to perform heavy lifting
