GFL Environmental is searching for a skilled Lead Heavy Duty Mechanic to operate, repair, and maintain commercial diesel and alternative fuel trucks. This role involves mentoring apprentice technicians while diagnosing complex engine and electrical systems. Additionally, you will maintain safety standards in the workplace and ensure efficient operations across all equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair advanced diesel and CNG engines

• Conduct PM and safety inspections regularly

• Maintain accurate repair records and parts usage

• Review and schedule work tasks efficiently

• Mentor apprentices and facilitate their training

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyman designation

• Driver’s License with personal tools

• Red Seal preferred for leadership roles

• Familiarity with CVIP inspections

• Strong problem-solving in technical tasks
