Finning Canada is hiring an Experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic in Grande Prairie for field maintenance of Caterpillar engines and equipment. This permanent role requires certification and a detail-oriented mindset.
You will be performing field repairs and diagnostics on various Caterpillar products. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of experience and be safety conscious while maintaining customer service excellence. Holding a Journeyperson certification is essential for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in field settings
• Interact effectively with customers and sales support
• Collaborate with supervision on maintenance tasks
• Uphold safety standards at all times
• Maintain accurate technical documentation
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification
• At least 1 year as a Heavy Duty Technician
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Familiarity with Caterpillar line beneficial
• Willingness to work out of town when required
