Wajax seeks a knowledgeable Heavy Equipment Technician for its busy shop. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime opportunities. Your focus will be on first-time diagnostics and repair of heavy equipment, ensuring service excellence while collaborating with team members for efficient completion of work orders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair Allison transmissions and industrial engines
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area
• Complete required paperwork for work orders and assessments
• Provide exceptional customer service while troubleshooting
Requirements:
• Journeyman Red Seal Technician or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Class 3 Driver's license with Air Endorsement preferred
• CVIP license preferred, yet not mandatory
