Summer School Supervisor

The Summer School Supervisor oversees the summer school programming to ensure a successful and efficient learning experience for students. This role involves supervising summer school principals, coordinating resources, addressing parent concerns, and reporting progress to the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. This position is for current school administrators (principal/ assistant principal).

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Monitoring:
  Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of summer school programming. Ensure that all programs align with district goals and policies.
• Supervision:
  Provide leadership and support to summer school principals. Guide principals to maintain high standards of educational leadership.
• Resource Coordination:
  Assist in procuring and distributing necessary supplies and materials for summer school principals. Ensure all resources are available and accessible for optimal program delivery.
• Parent Communication:
  Address and resolve parent concerns or inquiries regarding summer school programming. Maintain open and professional communication with families to foster trust and engagement.
• Reporting:
  Provide regular updates and reports to the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. Highlight program successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Missouri Administrator Certificate/License.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
• Commitment to fostering a positive educational environment.

Work Schedule:

This is a temporary position with responsibilities spanning the summer school session, including pre-program preparation and post-program evaluation.

Compensation:
Stipend $9,500
