Manufacturing Engineer, Aerospace / Aviation / Avionics, Quality Engineering
Overview
At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance, and includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
This role applies standard engineering techniques to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace components, equipment, and systems. It is responsible for ensuring manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety while supporting the production of launch vehicles, spacecraft, satellites, and their ground support systems. It supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle designed for human spaceflight.
We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required.
