DATA ENTRY / SCRIPTING SPECIALIST - SOFTWARE DATA MIGRATION

Pay rate 20/hr

• An Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Systems Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Skills and Experience

• Willingness to learn and comprehend content.
• Problem solving / Root Cause analysis.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail for correct input and validation of data in new system while maintaining efficiency to project schedule.
• Microsoft Office Suite:
  Experience in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Microsoft Excel: Using tables for searching and filtering data.
• Microsoft Word: General use.
• Microsoft Outlook: Proficient in managing email and collaborating with team members.
• Familiarity with software transition or product data maintenance is a plus.

• Reference product data in legacy software program and migrate data to new program under development.
• Transfer product and data including descriptions, images, and more.
• Copy pricing tables to new location.
• Add product options from a global list in the new tool based on legacy tool.
• Validate and show or hide product options based on other selections.
• Set product and option pricing based on user selections.
• Reference a change log for any deviation to the legacy data when setting up product in the new program.
• Review and check work following input to ensure accuracy.
• Follow best practices and setup processes to improve data cleanliness from legacy system.
• Raise concerns, issues, or discrepancies as they are encountered.
• Other tasks related to the set up and function of the new software program.
