AGV Attendant​/Forklift Operator

Summary

The primary function of the position is to manage material flow to/from the warehouse and production floor. Responsibilities include controlling AGV activities, operating forklifts, and ensuring inventory accuracy using barcode scanners and ProTraQ system.

• Operate a forklift to deliver and receive material to/from production.
• Monitor AGV activities using Login Control Center, ProTraQ, and other software systems.
• Correct inventory inaccuracies using barcode scanners and the ProTraQ system.
• Re-issue or cancel job orders and adjust using barcode scanners and the ProTraQ system.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, logging, and reporting of AGV issues.
• Manually intervene and operate AGVs as needed.
• Load and unload trailers as required.
• Monitor conveyor systems.

Candidate must possess forklift certification and have 1 to 3 months of related experience or training. Successful completion of an entry‑level skills test on understanding instructions, numerical computation, and visual checking is required. Must be physically able to lift up to 100 pounds and meet the job’s physical demands.

Regularly stand, walk, talk, and hear. Use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, and lift up to 58 pounds frequently; occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Must be able to sit, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, squat, or crawl. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus adjustment.

Work near moving mechanical parts and exposed to electrical shock risk. Frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional work in high, precarious places. Exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Noise level is usually loud. Fast‑paced moving environment requiring quick decisions and safety‑first decision making.
