Position Overview
General Labor / Line Operator – assembles minor products or components with routine and highly repetitive assembly operations at a workbench or conveyor line. Typical responsibilities involve checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, pasting, sniping, tying, trimming manually or by machine, performing equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, cleaning, and miscellaneous support tasks. Requires 0–2 years of experience and supervision.
Responsibilities- Assemble minor products/components on workbench or conveyor line.
- Check, sort, package, label, paste, snip, tie, trim manually or by machine.
- Perform basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning.
- Move assemblies/machines and clean floors as needed.
- Learn manufacturing tasks: operate mixers, strip products from forms, clean and oil forms, apply Unidex bonding mixture and butyl seal, place concrete in forms.
- Cut and bend rebar and wire for reinforcement purposes.
- Perform minor repairs to forms and related equipment.
- Use various hand tools required for manufacturing tasks.
- Ensure casting forms have clean and straight edges to produce visually appealing products.
- Stock products from the previous day after applying a clear seal to vaults; retrieve aged products from stock and paint for next day's orders.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a new hire drug test and undergo random drug screens.
- Capability to lift 75+ lbs.
- Proficiency in reading maps and understanding directions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- 0–2 years of experience in assembly or related manufacturing environment.
- Work under close supervision.
