Production Technician - Forklift Operator
In this role you will support a variety of areas in our fruit processing and packaging operations, sanitation, and drum washing.
Location:
100 Forsell Road, Grandview, WA 98930
Work Arrangements: 100% on-site, rotating shifts
Compensation: $24.05–$28.29 per hour

- Produce high quality products in a safe, sanitary, and healthful manner.
- Maintain documentation and production records that are legible, accurate, and complete.
- Communicate with team leaders, leads, maintenance, and all production personnel to achieve self-sufficient team goals.
- Apply HACCP, plant quality, plant GMPs, and food safety requirements.
- Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties according to company SSOPs.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Work any shift, including weekends and overtime as needed while maintaining a good attendance record.
- Flow to the work in all areas of production.
- Assist others as part of the team.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Ability to work any shift (day or night) including weekends.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out both oral and written instructions.
- Effective reading, comprehension, and filling in production forms accurately.
- Experience with cleaning chemicals and sanitation duties.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMPs, and general instructions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Previous food processing or manufacturing experience a plus.
- Previous forklift driving experience highly preferred.
- Regularly stand, walk, lift (67-100%).
- Use hands and arms for reaching/grasping/handling/fine finger manipulation (67-100%).
- Occasionally squat, bend, work above shoulders, climb stairs or ladders (11-33%).
- Frequently lift up to 25 lb (34-66%).
- Occasionally lift 60 lb (11-33%).
- Wear required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and bump caps.
