Embroidery Machine Operator

Position Title:

Embroidery Machine Operator Wage: $19.00/hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd (Training on 1st shift)

Hours:

Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday 4:00pm-12:30am Put your embroidery skills to work! We're looking for an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join a fast-paced, high-volume production team in Grandview, MO. If you have a sharp eye for detail, enjoy working with machinery, and take pride in producing quality work, this could be a great opportunity for you! This is a temporary role on 1st or 2nd shift.

• Daily performance of duties ensures the highest-quality embroidery standards in accordance with company expectations
• Complete operation of multi-head embroidery machines
• Complete set-up and completion of different types of embroidery jobs
• Machinery operation and order processing with attention to ticketing, hooping, threading, adjustments of thread and bobbin tensions
• Execution of corrections to avoid expensive loss of product
• Follow specific detailed instructions given by the supervisor and/or manager
• Meet daily physical demands of standing for extending periods of time and moving around facility on foot
• Meet department production expectations
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Participate in additional maintenance and cleaning of the machines and work area
• Perform all other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 1 year of embroidery experience
• High attention to details
• Strong ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to express issues and pose questions
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
• Initiative-taking and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical agility and stamina to stand, walk and bend the entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, push, pull, stack, and use stairs as needed throughout the shift
• Ability to be on feet throughout the shift
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 60 pounds
• Good eyesight for small detail work
• Ability to work in varying seasonal temperatures
• Ability to follow safety procedures for assigned equipment and materials
