Key Responsibilities &

Job Duties

* Provide friendly, helpful, and respectful guest service at all times

* Accurately scan and process guest purchases while maintaining speed and accuracy

* Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments following proper procedures

* Stay informed on promotions, pricing, and store initiatives to support sales and enhance the guest experience

* Engage with guests to answer questions, make suggestions, and help connect them with products that meet their needs

* Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership to support smooth front-end operations

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout and front-end area

* Stock, face, and assist with product placement as needed

* Operate POS systems, scanners, and related equipment accurately

* Monitor inventory levels near checkout areas and report issues

* Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

* Assist with bagging, restocking, cleaning, and supporting other departments as needed

* Remain productive during slower periods by supporting store presentation and identifying opportunities to improve the guest experience

* Other job duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

* Required:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

Required:

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

* Preferred:
Experience in grocery, retail, or food service environments
