Job Description Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with students, parents, supervisor and fellow workers
6 hours/day; 188 days/year
Performance Responsibilities- Assist students on and off buses, including moving wheelchairs and other devices as required.
- Monitor student behavior while on buses to ensure appropriate conduct.
- Escort students across the street, as needed.
- Assist driver in an emergency or evacuation.
- Check bus before and after each route for students and articles.
- Know the route and give assistance when asked.
- Be aware of the medical needs of students.
