What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting in the supervision and instruction of students.
- Under the supervision of a certified teacher, working with individual and/or small groups of students in a classroom.
- Monitoring students in various settings such as classroom, playground, cafeteria, library, etc.
- Providing support to the teacher.
- Salary: $19.25 - $25.27 per hour (depending on experience).
- Working days: 5 days per week.
- Hours per day: 6 hours.

Temporary for the 2025–2026 Summer School Pre-Kinder Jump Start Program (July 27, 2026 – August 7, 2026). - Up to 3 positions available.
- Additional hours may be available for professional development prior to the program.
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
Job-related experience desired. - Minimum qualifications:
At least eighteen years of age; hold a high school diploma or equivalent; meet the minimum requirement for a paraprofessional (associate of arts degree or equivalent credits or passed state para educator assessment).
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
