McClure Elementary 21st Afterschool Program Youth Development Specialist

Job Title

Assist with identifying struggling students in grades K-5 who would benefit from small group assistance during guided independent reading/math practice and/or with tutorials. Participate in all training related to the components of the support you will be implementing. Assist 21st Century tutors in administering pre- and post- assessments, as appropriate. Work with 21st Century tutors and site supervisor to implement 21st Century programming.

Salary: $19.25 - 25.27 per hour (depending on experience)

Working days: 4 days per week

Hours per day: 3 hours

Temporary for the  school year

Up to 2 positions available

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Job related experience is desired.

Minimum qualifications:

Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must meet the minimum requirement for a paraprofessional (Hold an associates of arts degree, have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at an institution of higher learning or have passed the state para educator assessment).
