Preschool Four's Paraprofessional Grandville Education Center

Anticipated vacancy for a Preschool Four's Paraprofessional at Grandville Education Center. This position is for 2.5 hours/day, Monday through Thursday, during the school year.

Preferred Qualifications for Paraprofessional Assignments:

Two years of college or Associate's (or higher) degree or

Confirmation of passing the MTTC basic skills test or Work Keys

Qualifications:

• Experience working with preschool students ages 3-5
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of child development
• Completion of fingerprinting in accordance with Michigan State Licensing requirements for background checks as well as MDE for school employment.

• Collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support student progress
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood
• Ability to use and integrate technology seamlessly
• Familiarity with Michigan's state licensing rules for child care centers (LARA)
• First Aid, CPR, and AED training (or willingness to be trained)
