Salary Range: $83,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grandville that are seeking IATF Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the IATF 16949 quality management system.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external IATF certification audits.
• Lead problem-solving activities using core tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) for customer and internal non-conformances.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process analysis and data-driven decisions.
• Facilitate APQP activities, including PPAP submission and approval.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure product and process quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience as a Quality Engineer in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standards and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification.
• Demonstrated experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and root cause analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with AIAG core tools beyond APQP (e.g., FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
• Black Belt or Green Belt Six Sigma certification.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering quality training programs.
• Familiarity with other quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
