Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
• Oversee all aspects of inventory control, including forecasting, planning, and procurement.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms and pricing for raw materials and components.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure timely and efficient material flow.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems and processes.
• Analyze material usage and demand patterns to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to material handling and storage.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in materials management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and procurement
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application to materials flow
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of materials professionals

Bonus Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Multilingual, particularly in languages relevant to global supply chains
