AboutThe Role
As a Sales Representative, you’ll work directly with customers to provide tailored insurance solutions while learning advanced sales techniques in a supportive, high-performance environment. You’ll focus on generating new business, building lasting client relationships, and helping individuals, families, and businesses secure the coverage they need.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively generate leads through prospecting, referrals, and community engagement
- Conduct personalized insurance consultations to understand and address client needs
- Present and sell a full suite of insurance products, including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and support
- Track sales activity, manage follow-ups, and process renewals using CRM systems
- Ensure compliance with Farmers Insurance standards and Michigan Department of Insurance regulations
- Prior experience in sales, insurance, or customer service preferred
- Active Property & Casualty License (or willingness to obtain)
- Life & Health License (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
