Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift

$28-$34/hr (depending on experience) Monday-Friday, Weekly Pay Full Benefits (medical, vision, dental, HSA)

This Maintenance Technician role on the 1st shift focuses on maintaining and repairing plastic injection molding machinery, as well as facility systems, to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. You will perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment installations while partnering closely with production teams to minimize downtime and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on plastic injection molding machines and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on machinery.
• Assist with the installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation and integration into production.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment performance to support tracking and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to identify equipment issues, prioritize repairs, and support smooth, continuous production operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all safety and environmental regulations to ensure tools and equipment are ready for use.
• Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts, and coordinate ordering to ensure critical components are available when needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime, production loss, and potential safety risks.
• Perform other related maintenance and facility tasks as requested to support overall company goals and production needs.

• Minimum of 8 years of Industrial Machine Repair
• Minimum of 2 years repairing plastic injection machines
• valid drivers license

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Grandville, MI.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
