Granger Christian School is seeking a passionate and Christ-centered educator to serve as our 6th Grade Teacher for the  school year. Sixth grade is a key transitional year as students grow academically, socially, and spiritually, and we are looking for a teacher who is excited to guide and mentor students during this important stage of development.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a love for Christian education, strong classroom leadership, and a commitment to academic excellence grounded in a biblical worldview.

Primary Responsibilities

* Model Christ-like character in words, actions, and relationships

* Integrate biblical truth and a Christian worldview throughout daily instruction

* Plan and deliver engaging instruction in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies

* Utilize instructional practices aligned with Indiana Academic Standards

* Establish a safe, structured, and positive classroom culture

* Maintain accurate grades, records, and consistent communication with parents

* Participate in faculty meetings, chapel services, school events, and professional development opportunities

* Collaborate positively with administration, faculty, and families

Qualifications

* Personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ

* Agreement with the school's Statement of Faith and educational philosophy

* Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field preferred

* Indiana teaching license preferred

* ACSI certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred

* Previous upper elementary or middle school teaching experience preferred
