Role Description

The Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Elkhart, IN. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, including coordinating workflows, monitoring machine and line performance, and ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety guidelines are met. The role includes managing and supporting production team members, assigning tasks, training staff, and promoting a positive, accountable work environment.

The Production Supervisor will review and adjust production schedules, track output, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency. The position also involves maintaining accurate production records, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and reinforcing adherence to company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills, including team leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to manage production schedules and execute effective production planning to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Experience in production management, including coordinating resources, monitoring KPIs, and driving process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills for clear direction, cross-functional collaboration, and documentation.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or wood products production is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and basic lean or continuous improvement concepts.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and safely operate or supervise equipment use.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or education in manufacturing, operations, or related fields is a plus.
