Tran shield, Inc. specializes in advanced protective cover technology that sets the company apart in the protective cover industry. Its patented materials remove moisture, prevent mold, mildew, and corrosion, and shield products from UV rays and other environmental elements. Tran shield serves marine, industrial, military, aviation, wind power, rail, and automotive markets across the United States. The company designs and manufactures custom covers using a variety of laminated fabrics tailored to each application.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidates must be proficient in Gerber/Accumark pattern and marker software. Other software will be taught for Sewers Print preparation and other tasks performed by the Final Design team.
Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment as we complete anywhere from 600 to 1000 unique designs per this atmosphere, speed is important, but the main focus is on accuracy and efficiency.
We work within the Aviation, Military, Industrial, and Marine markets, so there is a large variety of the types of designs we create.
Below is a list of duties involved in the creation of our Designs, BOM's, Labor Reports and Production Documentation.
- Creation of initial pattern and/or finalizing pattern that was created by the 3D team
- Split Pattern for material widths and marker efficiency
- Add seams, assembly notches, standard assembly codes & annotations
- Create final marker and plot files
Production Documentation (All of the below will be taught by Tran shield)
- Finalize BOM and Labor Report in Excel, via cross referencing design parameters in Gerber
- Create Sewers Print for each design in Corel Draw
- Prepare and Deliver Process Plans, Work Instructions and approved Production Documentation
