Merchandiser, Retail

Our ideal candidate has demonstrated retail experience, an appreciation for the outdoors, a strong commitment to teamwork, and a desire to keep pace with industry trends.

• Successfully plan and execute visually appealing, seasonally relevant, and on-brand floor displays that attract customers and drive sales.
• Maintain the high standards of Wanderlust Outfitters regarding store cleanliness, organization, and the presentation of merchandise.
• Collaborate with the team (Sales Manager, Supervisor, Receiver) to resolve operational, sales, merchandising, and inventory issues.
• Maintain excellent customer service while merchandising.
• Work regular sales shifts, including weekends and black out dates.
• Provide staffing coverage for absences.

This is a full-time position (30+ hours a week) reporting to our Sales Manager. This position requires availability on weekdays, holidays, and weekends.

Previous retail experience required. Previous outdoor industry sales experience is strongly desired.

BS or BA in Fashion Merchandising, Visual Merchandising or Merchandising highly recommended but not required.
