Supervisor, Retail, Retail Sales

Our ideal candidate has retail experience, demonstrated leadership skills, an appreciation for the outdoors, and a strong commitment to teamwork.

• Drive a high volume of retail sales to help achieve monthly corporate goals.
• Model excellent customer service & possess advanced product knowledge. Serve as a gear expert and pack fitter.
• Lead the sales team on select shifts, including key weekend hours.
• Support and train sales associates.
• Work regular sales shifts, including weekends and black out dates.
• Provide staffing coverage for absences.

• Provide daily direction of tasks and deliverables for the sales team (rotating lunches, executing floor standards lists, promotions, special projects, sales goals, etc.)
• Ensure Wanderlust Outfitters floor standards are kept (nicely folded piles, clothing sized, displays dusted, etc.)

• Assist in completing team member training packets
• Serving as a mentor for the Wanderlust Pack Fitting Certification program
• Assist with specialty training (ex. Superfeet, Brannock, shoe technology, apparel technology, gear technology, etc.)
• Stay informed on brand technology updates and new product explanations

This is a full-time position (30+ hours a week) reporting to our Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have availability on weekdays, holidays, and weekends.
