Site Safety Supervisor
iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a qualified professional to join our Safety team. iSuite is a business support services organization formed in 2023, offering services in business development, estimating, safety, accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing, and training to the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry.
We are currently looking for a Site Safety Supervisor to join our Safety team located at our office in Granite City, IL. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of construction safety practices and strong communication skills with a diverse workforce. The role collaborates closely with regional and national teams, project members, and the company's Safety Director.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Conduct regular safety meetings to reinforce priorities and communicate policy updates.
- Perform site safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and corrective actions.
- Lead incident and near‑miss investigations, including root‑cause analysis and prevention planning.
- Ensure proper availability and use of safety equipment and personal protective gear.
- Train site personnel on safety procedures, emergency response, and hazard awareness.
- Collaborate with regional safety coordinators to address concerns and support safety initiatives.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, including inspections, incidents, and training records.
- Monitor site safety performance data and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Stay current on safety regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
- Support integration of safety considerations into project planning and execution.
- Coordinate site‑level safety drills and emergency preparedness exercises.
- Partner with subcontractors and external teams to uphold safety standards across projects.
- 3–5 years of experience in a site‑level safety management role (commercial or industrial).
- Field/Craft experience is a major plus.
- OSHA 30‑hour or OSHA 510 certification (within the last 3 years).
- Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) is preferred but not required.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification is a plus.
- Strong computer proficiency (Excel, Word, safety platforms, data tracking tools).
- Bilingual in Spanish is a significant advantage but not required.
- Clear and effective communicator with strong leadership presence.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with field workers and subcontractors.
- Salary starting at $60,000
