Illinois American Water is seeking a Utility Operator to help execute operations at our 6-8 mgd wastewater treatment plant in Granite City
. In this role, you will learn all aspects of the treatment facility including lab testing, operating, identifying maintenance needs, and more. The ideal candidate will have a good mechanical aptitude, be able to work independently, and possess strong time management and communication skills.
$29.43/hr ($1 shift differential for 3rd shift)
This position may be eligible for annual incentive pay and contracted increases as determined by the collective bargaining agreement, and you will have the opportunity for continued salary growth.
