Quality Analyst Co-Op
Amsted Rail has an immediate opening for a Quality Analyst Co-Op at its operation in Granite City, Illinois.

This unique opportunity requires an innovative, self-starting individual to apply their creativity and vision to our green sand foundry process. In addition, the employee will assist with technical issues relating to quality of products, metrology, non‑destructive testing, and manage throughput of products. Applicants need to be able to think creatively, manage projects and communicate effectively.
The Co-Op student will tackle one ongoing major project, along with daily tasks within the casting quality‑engineering group. The goal is for a student to work part time while in school.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Engineering Management w/ Industrial Engineering focus – 3.0 GPA minimum.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work from written or verbal instructions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- CAD software experience
What we offer you:
The hourly pay range for this position is $18 to $20 per hour
. The exact rate will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. This non‑exempt role is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
