The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all equipment and grounds at the facility in an orderly, attractive, and safe condition. Under direct supervision and guidance, the technician assists with all maintenance and repairs in general building maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, plastering, and snow/ice removal. The role also includes performing minor maintenance, preventive maintenance, and assisting with the repairs and calibration of equipment.

Additional routine manual duties such as moving furniture, office supplies, and other equipment may be assigned by the supervisor or manager.

• High School Graduate or Equivalent

• Required:
  
  Basic knowledge of general trades such as construction, machine shop electrical distribution systems, electronic equipment, HVAC controls, refrigeration, plumbing, and specific equipment maintenance.
• Preferred:
  One to three years of trade‑related experience or military maintenance training and equipment service experience.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 – $26.24 per hour.
