Manufacturing Engineer, Production Manager, Industrial Maintenance, Operations Manager
This leadership role oversees a team of CNC machinists responsible for the setup, operation, and inspection of CNC and numeric‑control machining centers. The Manager ensures production quality, operational efficiency, workforce development, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

- Supervise, coach, and develop CNC machinists and general labor personnel.
- Assign daily work, monitor performance, and ensure production goals are met.
- Provide ongoing training in machining practices, safety, equipment operation, and quality standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth and skill advancement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee setup and operation of CNC/NC machines and machining centers.
- Ensure machinists follow engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
- Review and approve program changes, machining methods, and tooling adjustments.
- Coordinate workflow to maintain acceptable production levels and minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper use of hoists, cranes, forklifts, and other material‑handling equipment.
- Ensure all machined parts meet required tolerances, specifications, and visual standards.
- Oversee inspection processes, documentation of defects, and corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with company quality systems and industry standards.
- Support root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Works closely with Engineering, Quality, and Process teams to support the development and launch of new products.
- Partners with departments across the entire foundry to support CNC programming, troubleshoot machining issues, and drive process improvements within their departments.
- Enforce safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
- Ensure the machining area remains clean, organized, and hazard‑free.
- Oversee routine equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through training, audits, and incident review.
- Foster an culture of 5S and continuous improvement within the department.
- Track labor hours, production metrics, and operational data accurately.
- Prepare reports on equipment issues, material shortages, and production performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production leadership to optimize processes.
- Support planning and budgeting for tooling, equipment, and staffing needs.
- Working knowledge of, or the ability and willingness to learn, computer‑based quality control programs.
