Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
Full‑Time | Monday–Friday | 8‑Hour Shifts + Call | Gateway Regional Medical Center
Gateway Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our Surgical Services team. If you are detail‑oriented, thrive in a fast‑paced surgical environment, and enjoy working as part of a highly skilled procedural team, we invite you to apply.
What You’ll Do- Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures and support pre‑op assessments
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
- Monitor patients throughout operative and recovery phases
- Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
- Ensure accurate documentation and continuity of care
- Full‑time, Monday–Friday
- 8‑hour shifts
- Call required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN required)
- Current Illinois RN license
- Current BLS certification required
- OR experience preferred
- New graduates welcome to apply
- Competitive pay: $32.00–$48.00/hr
