As an Occupational Health Nurse, you'll provide clinical care and occupational health services that promote employee wellness, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Assessing and treating employees with occupational injuries and illnesses
• Administering immunizations, TB testing, drug and alcohol screenings, and other occupational health services
• Performing pre‑employment, annual, and regulatory health screenings
• Communicating with employers, referring providers, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), and Case Managers while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Assisting with Workers' Compensation case coordination and return-to-work processes
• Supporting compliance with OSHA regulations, Illinois Workers' Compensation requirements, DOT regulations, and infection prevention standards
• Collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high‑quality patient care
• Maintaining accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Providing exceptional customer service while promoting a positive experience for employees and employer partners

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse License required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or RN with a bachelor's degree in a health‑related field or Business Administration required
• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN‑S) preferred

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
• Current Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse License required

• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
• Previous occupational health, employee health, ambulatory care, urgent care, or outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, Illinois Workers' Compensation, DOT regulations, drug and alcohol screening, and case management preferred
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices and vaccine administration preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a fast‑paced clinical environment
