Evercare at Stearns is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Nurse to join our team in Granite City, IL. As a vital member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality wound care services to our patients. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide expert guidance and education to patients and families.

• Provide wound care services to patients with diverse wound types and complexities
• Conduct thorough wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement and monitor wound care interventions, including debridement, irrigation, and dressing changes
• Educate patients and families on wound care techniques, nutrition, and hygiene practices
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with facility policies
• Participate in quality assessment and improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current Illinois license
• 1 years of experience in wound care or a related field (new graduates welcome to apply)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Familiarity with wound care principles, practices, and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to facility policies
• On-Call
