Trailer Technician / Diesel Mechanic (Mobile) - Up to $30 per hour, Tools Provided, Full Benefits Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to identify issues and necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance on trailers, including brake adjustments, tire rotations, and electrical system checks.
• Repair or replace damaged components such as axles, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely while performing repairs or moving trailers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair tasks.

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on trailers, chassis, and light truck repairs.
• Experience with brakes, air system, lighting, landing gears, and doors.
• Proficiency in major body work including panel replacement and bottom/top rail repairs.
• Some welding experience.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
• Dependable team player.
• Major shop tools and diagnostic equipment are provided.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting during repairs (up to 50 pounds).
• Familiarity with farm machinery and Caterpillar equipment / RV trailers is a plus.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is beneficial.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Punctuality.
