OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen at our VMU site in Grantham. We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified HGV Technician.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be carrying out servicing and repairs on our contractors' vehicles to a high standard of quality and productivity. You will work within a team of like-minded individuals and prepare quality paperwork.
QualificationsYou will have a minimum qualification of City and Guilds level 3 certificate in HGV vehicles or equivalent. A Class 1 licence would be an advantage, but we would consider your application if you have worked in a similar HGV environment. You will have a "fix first time" attitude together with excellent communication skills.
Essential Skills and Experience- Level 3 qualification; level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician or LOLER certification
- Ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines
- Be able to actively seek solutions to problems
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be able to work as part of a team
- HGV licence is an advantage
