Motorcycle Technician

Vertu Honda Grantham Bikes are looking to recruit a Motorcycle Technician to join this expanding business!

We are offering a basic salary £30,000 plus an excellent range of company benefits.

As a Motorcycle Technician you'll spend most of your time in our workshop maintaining our new and used motorcycles to the high standards set out in our Health and Safety policy. It involves carrying out inspections, repairs and services, checking motorcycles against VOSA legislation, and handling and storing parts. You'll also need to make sure all necessary visual health checks are completed, that paperwork is accurate and up to date.

You will be responsible for ensuring all jobs are completed within agreed time frames and that a high level of productivity is maintained. Analysis, diagnostics and road testing vehicles are also a critical part of this role. You will deliver an outstanding customer experience.

We are constantly looking for experienced and talented motorcycle technicians. Ideally you will have franchise experience, but this is not essential as manufacturer training will be on‑going for the successful candidate. An MOT licence would be welcome but is not essential to be considered for the role. You must possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level
2) as a minimum requirement for this role and we require you to have a full motorcycle licence.
