Salary: £19.50 per hour (£40,560 per year) + Overtime at 1.5x (OTE £46,000+)
Hours: 40 hours per week | Rotating shifts:
Monday-Friday 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 | 30-minute paid break

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician
, you will:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete PMIs, inspections and MOT preparation to DVSA standards
- Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Complete warranty paperwork, job cards and service documentation accurately
- Support roadside breakdowns when required
- Work safely while maintaining a clean and organised workshop
- Help maximise vehicle uptime through high-quality repairs
To be considered for this HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician role, you will need:
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work to DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Mercedes-Benz or main dealer experience is advantageous but not essential
