Public Works Fleet Division Assistant
Join the Public Works Department as we look for an independent, proactive individual to assist our Fleet Division. If you excel at details, enjoy working with computers, and are ready to grow in a new position, this could be a great fit for you.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Processing accounts payable, purchase orders, and requisitions for fleet-related vendors;
- Importing and reconciling fuel data and incidentals, utilizing Collective Data;
- Maintaining motor pool usage logs and incidental cost tracking;
- Coordinating vehicle documentation, vendor statements and monthly invoice deadlines;
- Scheduling fleet pool vehicles, addressing user issues, and ensuring compliance with return and fueling policies; and
- Managing contract routing, management of records and scheduling meetings.
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on-site.

Minimum QualificationsA High School Diploma or GED, and two years of general office experience including customer service experience are required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those in the job description.
Licensing Requirements:
- Oregon Driver's License – Class C with an acceptable driving record
- Certification of 40 words per minute at 95% accuracy keyboarding skills.
