Position Type: Part Time

Salary: $20.64 to $26.15 per hour based on step and experience. Full benefits include medical, dental, vision and PERS retirement contributions.

Job Description:

Responsible for managing library operations, curriculum support, and information services for students and staff at Manzanita Elementary School.

Responsibilities (Summary):

• Communicate and relate effectively with all students and staff.
• Maintain strong knowledge of classical and current literature, non‑fiction, and reference materials.
• Use and troubleshoot AV materials, copy machines, laminator, and computers.
• Work independently and with small groups of students.
• Support library functions according to school policies.

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate fluently, verbally and in writing in English.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with the Dewey Decimal System required; experience with Follett library software desired.
• Computer skills – proficiency in Word, Excel, and internet usage.
• AA degree or equivalent or related experience, education or training.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
