ABOUT THE ROLE
Develop technical documents within the engineering department to support multiple facets of the business.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Documentation Creation:
Develop comprehensive and user-friendly documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, specifications, release notes, and troubleshooting documentation. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content. - Content Maintenance: Regularly update and revise existing documentation to reflect product updates, enhancements, and changes. Monitor user and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for improving documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Product Managers, Sales, and other teams to gather information and ensure product functionality and documentation alignment.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews and edits to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all written materials. Perform usability testing to validate the effectiveness of documentation.
- Documentation Standards: Establish and maintain documentation standards, style guides, and best practices. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure documentation remains relevant.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
Education: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Technical Writing, English, Computer Science
Required Work Experience: Four years of experience as a Technical Writer

Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
