Location: Building Envelope – Grants Pass, OR

Develop technical documents within the engineering department to support multiple facets of the business.

• Documentation Creation
  :
  Develop comprehensive and user‑friendly documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, specifications, release notes, and troubleshooting documentation. Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Content Maintenance
  :
  Regularly update and revise existing documentation to reflect product updates, enhancements, and changes. Monitor user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaboration
  :
  Work closely with Engineering, Product Managers, Sales, and other teams to gather information and ensure product functionality aligns with documentation.
• Quality Assurance
  :
  Conduct reviews and edits to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Perform usability testing to validate documentation effectiveness.
• Documentation Standards
  :
  Establish and maintain documentation standards, style guides, and best practices. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

• Education
  :
  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technical Writing, English, Computer Science), or four years of experience as a Technical Writer.
• Required Skills
  :
  Proficiency with MS Office;
  AutoCAD and Solid Works experience is a plus.
• Travel Requirements
  :
  None – must be onsite at Grants Pass, OR.

• $28‑$32/hr
