GIS Supervisor

Join the City of Grants Pass as a GIS Supervisor to lead and manage our City-wide Geographic Information System (GIS) program within the Public Works Department. This position plays a critical role in the planning, implementation, and administration of key GIS initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervision of GIS Technicians
• Administering the city-wide GIS program, to include structure and design
• Managing budgets, making recommendations, approving expenditures, and preparing reports
• Coordinating work projects and soliciting bids from vendors

A Bachelor's degree in a related field, and 4 years of related experience are required; including one year of supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed in the job description.

Licensing Requirements:

• GISCI GIS Professional Certification (GISP) is preferred
• Valid driver's license, Oregon Class C with an acceptable driving record
