ABOUT

THE ROLE

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for a Material Handler in the Grants Pass, OR area. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and grow within our company. This is a full-time, year-round, hourly position with a pay rate of $19 per hour.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Pulling full pallet quantities and palletizing less than pallet quantities
  • Banding and staging of pallets
  • Anticipating the needs of operators
  • Processing orders through our computer system
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education:

High school Diploma or GED.

Required

Work Experience:

  • Must have extensive forklift experience
  • Experience with cycle counts and year/month-end inventory

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be accurate and have a high attention to detail
  • Self‑motivated and a team player
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills as well as excellent math skills
  • Must have time management skills
  • Must be flexible with hours and able to work overtime and weekends
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
